Alliums, annual buds, peas

I left a few yellow onions to see what their flower would look like.  Pretty nice.

Reminder :
Bridal netting keeps the bugs (think potato beetles, japanese beetles)  and birds (think blueberries) at  bay.

Broccoli and all cole crops are suseptable to the   Cabbage Looper .  Use Bt or Dipel for organic control.

For the first time, my five year old Stewartia pseudocamellia is going to put on a great show later this month.


Hardy annual worth revisiting 


Sweet Alyssum  lovely fragrance all summer and then ... it self seeds and reappears in unexpected places next year.
